We want you!
One of the persistent myths I encounter in this country is that foreigners don't like or don't trust Poles. Well, check out this article written by Mary Kenny, a well-known right-wing writer and broadcaster in Britain, in which she says that hard-working Eastern European au pairs, gardeners, builders and so on are leaving an excellent impression on British and Irish people. See? It's not just me who likes the people here. :)

That's becasue Jim Poles are in general (not everybody, of course) terrible pessimistis! We don't believe in ourselves, unfrotunatelly. ;-( And those who go abroad are inteligent and wat to achieve something and so they present their best sides to our foreign "friends" ;-) (not everybody, of course ;-)
I think we (Poles) are such a nice nation enyone has to love us... and seriously, we could be seen as nice & likable people because many others think of us according to all those stereotypes :/ so if they bump into a real Pole, they might be astonished, although we are not always so lovable at all !
greetings :)
I find my nation ok, beside the fact that sometimes we(us a nation) tend to be less tolerant that I would like to, but this also is changing
I think most of "nation character" is a myth. Everybody is unique, it's not wise to jump to any conclusion based on what we read, see, and watch in media.
